1-[4′-(4-Aminomethyl-3-methyl-isoxazol-5-yl)-biphenyl-4-yl]-cyclopropanecarboxylic acid ethyl ester (0.038 g, 0.1 mmol), α,α-dimethylphenylacetic acid (0.020 g, 0.12 mmol), 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide (EDC) (0.023 g, 0.12 mmol), 1-hydroxybenzotriazole (HOBt) (0.016 g, 0.12 mmol), and triethylamine (0.56 mL, 0.4 mmol) were combined in CH2Cl2 (1 mL) and stirred at room temperature overnight. The mixture was concentrated and the residue was purified by silica gel chromatography (0-50% EtOAc in hexanes) to give the title compound.
