To a solution of tert-butyl 1-(6-(5-(2,6-difluorophenyl)-1-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)-1H-indazol-3-yl)pyrazin-2-yl)piperidin-3-ylcarbamate (350 mg, 0.592 mmol) in Et2O (6 mL) was added HCl in Et2O (6 mL). The reaction mixture was heated at 80° C. overnight and cooled to RT. The resulting mixture was diluted with water and neutralized with K2CO3. The resulting precipitate was collected by filtration, washed with water and a mixture of EtOH/EtOA (1:10), and dried overnight to give 1-(6-(5-(2,6-difluorophenyl)-1H-indazol-3-yl)pyrazin-2-yl)piperidin-3-amine MS (ESI, pos. ion) m/z: 407 (M+1).
