The product from example 1, step d.) (50 mg, 0.111 mmol) was dissolved in DMF (1 mL), treated with K2CO3 (23 mg, 0.167 mmol), bromo-acetic acid ethyl ester (25 uL, 0.133 mmol), and stirred at ambient temperature overnight. The reaction was heated to 50° C. for 2 hours, then more K2CO3 (23 mg, 0.167 mmol) and bromo-acetic acid ethyl ester (25 uL, 0.133 mmol) were added and the reaction was heated to 80° C. for three hours. The reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature and partitioned between ethyl acetate and water. The organic layer was washed several times with water and concentrated under reduced pressure to give the sub-title compound that was used in crude form without purification.
