Conditions
- Temperature
- 22 °C
Procedure
1.0 g of Donepezil was dissolved in the mixture comprising from 0.31 g of concentrated hydrochloric acid and 4 ml of ion exchange purified water under stirring at 22° C. 100 ml of THF was added hereinto. It continued stirring for 30 minutes at room temperature. Filtration of the separated crystals followed by drying afforded 1.06 g of the title compound. (water content: 11.14%)
