Procedure

To a solution of 4-thioxo-1,3-thiazolidin-2-one (640 mg) in ethanol (6 mL) was added propan-1-amine (0.397 mL), and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 3 hr. The reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure, and the residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (ethyl acetate/hexane) to give the title compound (450 mg).
