A mixture of 4-((5-(2-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)propan-2-yl)-1-(4-fluorophenyl)-1H-imidazol-2-yl)methoxy)piperidine-1-carbonitrile, NaN3 (59 mg, 0.9 mmol), and NH4Cl (50 mg, 0.9 mmol) in DMF (2 mL) was heated at 100° C. overnight. The crude product was purified by HPLC (10-99%, MeCN/H2O with 0.05% TFA) to give the title product as a white solid (45 mg, 47%). MS (EI) m/z 530.3 [M+H]+.
