Trifluoroacetic acid (2 mL) was added to a solution of tert-butyl (6S,9R)-6-(2,3-difluorophenyl)-3-(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)-6,7,8,9-tetrahydro-5H-imidazo[1,2-a]azepin-9-ylcarbamate (50 mg, 0.112 mmol) in dichloromethane (2 mL). After 1 h, saturated sodium bicarbonate was added. The mixture was extracted with dichloromethane (3×), and the combined organic extracts were washed with saturated brine, dried over sodium sulfate, filtered and concentrated. MS 346.1 (M+1).
