Procedure
4,5-Difluoro-2-nitro-phenylamine is a known compound.8 It was reduced with tin (II) chloride dihydrate in ethanol to give the 4,5-difluoro-benzene-1,2-diamine. The diamine was reacted with hexaketocyclohexane octahydrate to give [(HATNA)F6]. The product was purified by train purification (sublimation). The compound is yellow needle like crystal. It is slightly soluble in chloroform. It is very soluble in chloroform/TFA (3:1) mixture.
