A mixture of 60.5 (0.16 mmol), 7.5 (52 mg, 0.13 mmol), and Cs2CO3 (135 mg, 0.41 mmol) in DMF (1.6 mL) was stirred overnight at room temperature. The mixture was diluted with EtOAc, washed with water and brine, dried (Na2SO4), and concentrated. The crude product was chromatographed on silica gel (0-30% EtOAc/hexane) to afford 60.6 (26 mg, 32%) as a colorless oil. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 8.29 (d, 1H), 7.48 (d, 2H), 7.28 (m, 5H), 7.19 (m, 4H), 7.14 (d, 1H), 7.04 (d, 1H), 6.96 (d, 2H), 6.13 (d, 1H), 5.17 (s, 2H), 4.75 (t, 1H), 4.61 (m, 1H), 4.13 (m, 2H), 4.02 (dd, 1H), 3.54 (dd, 1H), 3.20 (dd, 1H), 2.76 (dd, 1H), 2.62 (t, 2H), 1.61 (m, 2H), 1.37 (m, 2H), 0.94 (t, 3H).
