Procedure
7-Amino-4-methoxy-2-methyl-2,3-dihydroisoindol-1-one (292 mg, 1.52 mmol) was combined with 2,4,5-trichloropyrimidine (279 mg, 1.52 mmol), and N,N-diisopropylethylamine (294 mg, 2.28 mmol) in isopropanol (5 mL) and microwaved at 120° C. for one hour. The yellow solid produced was isolated by filtration, was washed with clean isopropanol, and was dried in vacuo to afford 7-(2,5)-dichloropyrimidin-4-ylamino)-4-methoxy-2-methyl-2,3-dihydroisoindol-1-one (350 mg, 68%) as a yellow solid.
