To a solution of 4-(4-amino-3-methanesulfonyl-phenyl)-piperidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (cf. Example 24e, 0.048 g) in 1,2-dichloroethane (3.0 ml) was added 5-fluoro-1-methyl-1H-indole-2-sulfonyl chloride (0.035 g) and DMAP (0.025 g). The reaction mixture was stirred at 80° C. for 72 h, diluted with dichloromethane (2 ml) and chromatographed on silica gel using dichloromethane/ethyl acetate as eluent to obtain the title compound (0.019 g) as an off-white foam.
