Procedure

The compound (1.53 g, 5.34 mmol) synthesized in the above (3) was dissolved in dichloromethane (15 mL), and with cooling with ice, methanesulfonyl chloride (0.62 mL, 8.0 mmol) and triethylamine (1.11 mL, 8.0 mmol) were added in that order. The reaction solution was stirred for 20 minutes with cooling with ice. The reaction solution was poured into aqueous saturated sodium hydrogencarbonate solution, and extracted with chloroform. The organic layer was washed with aqueous saturated ammonium chloride solution and water in that order, then dried with magnesium sulfate. The solvent was removed under reduced pressure, and the resulting pale yellow solid was washed with chloroform and n-hexane to obtain the entitled compound (1.8 g, 93%) as a white solid.
