Procedure
A mixture of 5-(3-fluorophenyl)-6-pyridin-4-ylpyrazine-2,3-diamine (Example 72, 200 mg, 0.71 mmol), 1,1′-carbonylbis-1H-imidazole (138 mg, 0.85 mmol) in THF (3 mL) was stirred and heated at reflux overnight. Solvent was removed under reduced pressure and the residue was partitioned between water and ethyl acetate. The separated organic phase was dried (MgSO4) and evaporated to dryness. The residue was recrystallized from ethanol to give the title compound as a white solid (96 mg, 44%).
