0.1122 g of diisopropyl azodicarboxylate is added dropwise to a solution of 0.246 g of benzyl 4-(4-hydroxymethylphenyl)-3-[4-(3-methoxypropyl)-3,4-dihydro-2H-benzo[1,4]oxazin-6-ylmethoxy]piperidine-1-carboxylate (Example 270c), 0.1061 g of ethyl(3-hydroxyphenyl)acetate, 0.1396 g of triphenylphosphine and 5 ml of tetrahydrofuran. The solution is stirred at room temperature for 1 hour and concentrated by evaporation. The title compound is obtained as a colourless oil from the residue by means of flash chromatography (SiO2 60F). Rf=0.28 (1:1 EtOAc-heptane); Rt=5.91.
