Procedure
To 5-(2-(pyridin-4-yl)pyrazolo[1.5-a]pyrimidin-3-yl)-2,3-dihydroinden-1-one O-methyl oxime (0.090 g; Example 7, Step 5) in 1.3 mL dioxane was added 1.3 mL 4M hydrochloric acid and the mixture was heated to 100° C. for 5 hours. The cooled reaction mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate, washed with 10% aqueous potassium carbonate, dried over sodium sulfate, filtered, and evaporated to yield 75 mg product as a yellow-brown-solid. This material was carried on without further purification.
