A solution of methyl 2-({4-[({6-[cyclohexyl(cyclopropylmethyl)amino]pyrimidin-4-yl}carbonyl)amino]benzyl}amino)butanoate (Example 74, 50 mg; 0.10 mmol) in a mixture of MeOH (2 ml) and THF (2 ml) was treated with an aqueous solution (5 N) of sodium hydroxide (300μl; 1.5 mmol) and the reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 24 hours. The mixture was acidified with HCl 1N until pH 4. The precipitate was filtered and dried under vacuum to give the title compound as a white solid.
