To a suspension of 7-methyl-3,4-dihydropyrido[2,1-c][1,2,4]thiadiazine-9-carboxylic acid 2,2-dioxide (76 mg) in DMF (3 mL) were added 4-sec-butylaniline (0.069 mL), HOBt (67 mg), and EDCI HCl (84 mg) and the mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight. To the reaction mixture was added water (10 ml), and the resulting precipitate was collected by filtration. The obtained solid was recrystallized from DMSO-ethanol to give the title compound (114 mg) as pale-yellow crystals.
