A mixture of 4-(((1R,4S)-4-hydroxy-3,3-dimethylcyclohexyl)amino)-2-(methylsulfonyl)pyrimidine-5-carbonitrile (100 mg, 0.308 mmol), 1-(2-amino-ethyl)-3-methyl-1,3-dihydro-benzoimidazol-2-one (140 mg, crude), and DIEA (85 mg, 0.66 mmol) in THF (3 mL) was stirred at 100° C. in a microwave reactor for 1.5 h. After cooling to room temperature, the reaction mixture was concentrated and the residue was purified by preparative standard methods to afford the title compound (36.7 mg, 0.084 mmol, 24% yield over 2 steps). 1H NMR (400 MHz, CD3OD) δ (ppm) 8.08-7.94 (m, 1H), 7.11-7.08 (m, 4H), 4.26-4.10 (m, 3H), 3.89-3.66 (m, 2H), 3.40-3.35 (m, 4H), 1.96-1.51 (m, 6H), 1.05-0.99 (m, 6H). MS (ESI) m/z 436.2 [M+H]+.
