Reaction of 3-methylamino-4-(2-mercaptoethylamino)-1,2,5-thiadiazole 1-oxide [prepared by reacting 3,4-dimethoxy-1,2,5-thiadiazole 1-oxide with 2-aminoethanethiol and methylamine according to the procedure described in Example 25, Step A] with about one equivalent of 2-dimethylaminomethyl-4-hydroxymethylthiazole [prepared in Example 34, Step D], produces the title compound.
