HATU (2.7 g, 7.1 mmol) is added to a mixture of 2-{[(tert-butoxy)carbonyl]amino}-propanoic acid (850 mg, 4.5 mmol), 4-chloropyridine-2,6-diamine (1 g, 7.0 mmol), DIPEA (4.6 ml, 26.5 mmol) and NMP (7 ml) and the mixture is stirred at RT for 18 h. The mixture is concentrated in vacuo and the product purified by RP HPLC. Yield: 770 mg (55%). HPLC-MS: M+H=315 (Method—2).
