4-(3-Fluorobenzyl)-N-(2-(4,5,6-trifluoro-2-(triethylsilyl)-1H-indol-3-yl)ethyl)benzamide (0.057 g; 0.105 mmol) was dissolved in trifluoroacetic acid (3 mL) and stirred at room temperature for 3 hours. The solution was concentrated under reduced pressure and the crude material was purified by flash chromatography on silica gel (eluent 20 to 100% ethyl acetate in heptane) to afford 0.027 g (60%) of the title compound as a white solid.
