N-(2-(5-Chloro-7-fluoro-2-(triethylsilyl)-1H-indol-3-yl)ethyl)-4-(3-fluorobenzyl)benzamide (0.102 g; 0.189 mmol) was dissolved in trifluoroacetic acid (3 mL) and stirred at room temperature for 3 hours. The solution was concentrated under reduced pressure and the crude material was purified by flash chromatography on silica gel (eluent 20 to 100% ethyl acetate in heptane) to afford 0.015 g (19%) of the title compound as a white solid.
