4-(6-fluoro-3-oxo-1,3-dihydro-2H-pyrazolo[4,3-c]cinnolin-2-yl)benzoyl chloride (100 mg, 0.29 mmol) was dissolved in anhydrous DMA (2 ml). Diisopropylethylamine (75 mg, 101 μl, 0.58 mmol) was added followed by 4-amino-1,2,2,6,6-pentamethylpiperidine (49 mg, 0.29 mmol). The mixture was stirred overnight. Water (5 ml) and n-butanol (5 ml) were added. The phases were separated. The organic phase was washed with water (2×5 ml) and the solution was concentrated under vacuum. The title compound was isolated as a dark red solid (50 mg, 0.105 mmol, 36%). LCMS: m/z [M+H]+ 477.
