Procedure
A solution of tert-butyl (1-{[(1R,2R)-2-phenylcyclopropyl]carbonyl}piperidin-4-yl)methylcarbamate (1.00 g, 2.79 mmol) in TFA (3 mL) and CH2Cl2 (3 mL) was stirred at R.T. for 0.5 h. The reaction mixture was then concentrated to give the title compound as a trifluoroacetate salt.
