103 g (0.5 mole) of the product from Example 1 were reduced with 60 g of isopropanol and 20 g of aluminum triisopropylate by the Meerwein-Ponndorf method. The conversion was 78% and the yield of the above compound (for characteristics thereof, see Example 3), based on the above conversion, was 73%.
