In analogy to the procedure described in example 20b, the 2-amino-4-bromo-6-methylsulfanyl-pyrimidine-5-carbonitrile (see example 69) was treated with the 4-(4-fluorophenyl)-piperidine hydrochloride in dioxane in the presence of N-ethyl-diiso-propylamine at room temperature during 36 hours to yield 2-amino-4-[4-(4-fluoro-phenyl)-piperidin-1-yl]-6-methylsulfanyl-pyrimidine-5-carbonitrile as a yellow solid; MS: [M+H]+=344.
