A reaction vial was charged with 2,4′-dimethyl-5-(pyrrolidin-1-ylsulfonyl)biphenyl-3-carboxylic acid (40 mg, 0.11 mmol), (R)-1-(2-methylpyrimidin-5-yl)ethanamine (20 mg, 0.14 mmol), N,N,N′,N′-tetramethyl-O-(7-azabenzotriazol-1-yl)uronium hexafluorophosphate (106 mg, 0.28 mmol), N,N-diisopropylethylamine (39 μL, 0.22 mmol) and N,N-dimethylformamide (1.33 mL), and the reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight. The reaction mixture was purified by preparative HPLC to afford the compound as a light brown solid.
