Procedure
Ethyl 3-((2-(methylthio)benzo[d]thiazol-6-yl)methyl)imidazo[1,2-b]pyridazine-6-carboxylate (115 mg, 0.3 mmol) was heated with 2 mL of 2.0 M NH2Me in THF at 85° C. in a sealed tube for 1 h, at 100° C. for 1 h, then at 110° C. overnight. LCMS analysis showed that the reaction was complete. Solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure, and the residue was dried in a vacuum oven to give N-methyl-3-((2-(methylthio)benzo[d]thiazol-6-yl)methyl)imidazo[1,2-b]pyridazine-6-carboxamide, which was used directly for the next step. LCMS (ESI) m/z 370 (M+H)+.
