To a solution of (S)-8-(2-azido-2-(4-methyl-1-oxo-1,3-dihydroisobenzofuran-5-yl)ethyl)-2-(4-methyl-5-oxo-2,5-dihydrofuran-3-yl)-2,8-diazaspiro[4.5]decan-1-one (200 mg, 0.43 mmol) in a mixed solvent of tetrahydrofuran and water (v:v, 12:1, 20 mL) was added triphenylphosphine (225 mg, 0.86 mmol) under nitrogen atmosphere. The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 18 h. The solvent was removed by evaporation and the residue was purified by preparative TLC (dichloromethane: methanol=10:1) to afford the title compound as a solid.
