Diethylphosphorylchloride (150 mg, 0.87 mmol) was added to a solution of EtNiPr2 (129 mg, 1.00 mmol), DMAP (10 mg, 0.08 mmol) and N-(2,4-dimethoxybenzyl)-N-phenyl-1,2-dihydro-4-hydroxy-1-methyl-2-oxo-quinoline-3-carboxamide (222 mg, 050 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (3.0 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred for 30 min and was then concentrated at reduced pressure. The residue was purified by silica column chromatography (EtOAc) to give the title compound (196 mg, 68%).
