5-(tert-Butyl)-3-((tert-butylamino)methyl)-2′-chloro-4′-(trifluoromethyl)-[1,1′-biphenyl]-2-ol hydrochloride was prepared as a white solid using the procedure described in Example 9 from 5-(tert-butyl)-2′-chloro-2-hydroxy-4′-(trifluoromethyl)-[1,1′-biphenyl]-3-carbaldehyde and tert-butylamine.
