To tert-butyl 3-{[6-(4-fluorophenyl)-2,3-dihydropyrido[3,2-f][1,4]oxazepin-4(5H)-yl]carbonyl}benzylcarbamate (0.32 g) obtained in Example 72C was added a 4N solution (10 ml) of hydrochloric acid in ethyl acetate, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 30 min. The reaction mixture was concentrated and the residue was dissolved in a small amount of isopropanol. Ethyl acetate was added and the resulting crystals were collected by filtration to give the title compound (0.25 g) as colorless crystals.
