A 5 mL microwave vial was charged with Compound 250 (520 mg, 1.0 mmol), 3-(ethylsulfonyl)phenylboronic acid (321 mg, 1.5 mmol) and Pd(PPh3)4 (116 mg, 0.10 mmol). To the mixture was added dioxane (2 mL) and a saturated aqueous solution of K2CO3 (1 mL). The reaction mixture was heated at 140° C. for 20 min. in microwave. The reaction was diluted with EtOAc and washed with water and brine. The organic extracts were dried (Na2SO4) and concentrated and the crude Compound 251 was taken forward for Boc deprotection.
