500 mg of the N-(4-fluoro-2-hydroxyphenyl)-2-[4-(morpholin-4-yl)-6-oxo-1,6-dihydropyrimidin-2-yl]acetamide are mixed into 40 ml of xylene, and 155 mg of 4-methylbenzenesulphonic acid hydrate are added. The reaction mixture is brought to reflux for 3 hours. After cooling to 20° C., the reaction mixture is concentrated to dryness under reduced pressure and then the residue is chromatographed on a silica gel column, eluent: CH2Cl2/MeOH: 95/05. 220 mg of 2-[(6-methoxy-1,3-benzoxazol-2-yl)methyl]-6-(morpholin-4-yl)pyrimidin-4(3H)-one are thus obtained in the form of a white solid, the characteristics of which are the following:
