Procedure
To a solution of 1-{7-(trifluoromethyl)-4-[(3-hydroxypropyl)amino]imidazo[1,2-a]quinoxalin-1-yl}-4,4-dimethylpent-1-yn-3-one (23 mg, 0.05 mmol) in anhydrous tetrahydrofuran (1 mL) was added TMS-diazomethane (2M in THF, 91 μL, 0.183 mmol). The mixture was stirred at 60° C. under argon for 6 h and then at room temperature overnight. The reaction mixture was treated with a saturated aqueous solution of ammonium chloride and extracted twice with dichloromethane. The combined organic layers were dried over sodium sulfate, filtered and evaporated. The crude product was purified by preparative TLC (silica gel, dichloromethane/methanol 20/1) to afford the title compound (12 mg, 48%) as a yellow oil.
