The title compound was prepared following the procedure described for of Intermediate-53 using of 3,5-dimethoxybenzonitrile (1.0 g, 6.12 mmol), ethanol (20 mL), hydroxylamine hydrochloride (0.634 g, 9.23 mmol) and potassium carbonate (2.53 g, 18.40 mmol) to afford 0.500 g of the desired product. 1HNMR (DMSO-d6): δ 3.75 (s, 6H), 5.79 (s, 2H), 6.49 (s, 1H), 6.84 (s, 2H), 9.62 (s, 1H); MS [M+H]+: 197.11.
