[2-benzylsulfanyl-6-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-pyrimidin-4-ylmethyl]-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester was diluted with 4N HCl in dioxane (20 mL) at rt. After 30 min. the mixture was concentrated and the resulting solid was used without further purification. MS (ESI): mass calcd. for C19H16F3N3S, 373.2; m/z found, 374.2 [M+H]+.
