Procedure

0.95 g (3.11 mmol) N-[4-(Imidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-2-yl)-phenyl]-2,2,2-trifluoro-acetamide (educt IV.2.c) is dissolved in 10 mL DMF. 0.14 g (3.73 mmol) NaH (60% in mineral oil) is added. Then 195 μL (3.11 mmol) methyl iodide is added and the mixture is stirred at RT over night. The mixture is poured into water. The precipitate is filtered off and dried in vacuo at 50° C.
