A mixture of compound 7 (2.0 g), paraformaldehyde (1.5 g), Cs2CO3 (1.2 eq.) in THF (50 mL) was stirred at 70° C. for 3 hours. Filtration and concentration of the solvent gave the title product 9 as pure white solid. Yield: 2.2 g, 98%.
