6-amino-9-(2-chloroethyl)-2-[(4-pyridylmethyl)amino]-purine was prepared from 4-pyridinecarboxaldehyde and 9-(2-chloroethyl)-2,6-diamino-purine according to the procedure described in example 12 step B. The crude product was purified by flash chromatography (DCM/MeOH 99.5/0.5→80:20) to give the desired product as white solid.
