Procedure

73.8 ml of 5-Methylfuran-2-carbaldehyde are added to 100 g of (R)-2-amino-2-phenyl-ethanol dissolved in 800 ml of THF. A reaction mixture obtained is heated at reflux for 5.5 hours and after cooling to rt solvent is evaporate. The title compound is obtained.
