6-Bromo-5,7-difluoro-quinoline ((viii), 1 g, 4.10 mmol), tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium (0) (47 mg, 0.041 mmol) and tributyl(vinyl)tin (1.34 g, 4.10 mmol) were put together with dioxane (3.7 mL) in a microwave reactor and stirred for 25 min at 150° C. under microwave irradiations. The solvent was removed and the residue was purified by MPLC with hexane and EtOAc. The title compound was obtained as a colorless oil (tR 1.1 min (conditions 4), MH+=192).
