To a solution of 3-{2-[2-((R)-1-hydroxyethyl)benzoimidazol-1-yl]-9-methyl-6-morpholin-4-yl-9H-purin-8-ylmethylene}azetidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (167 mg, 0.31 mmol) in EtOAc (5 mL) and EtOH (5 mL) was added 20% Pd(OH)2/C (160 mg) and the resulting mixture stirred under an atmosphere of H2 for 16 h. The reaction mixture was filtered through Celite® and the filtrate concentrated in vacuo affording the title compound (156 mg, 93%). LCMS (method A): RT 3.07 min [M+H]+ 549.4
