Procedure
4-[2-(acetylamino)-4-methyl-1,3-thiazol-5-yl]-5-bromothiophene-2-sulfonyl chloride obtained in Step III as describe above (586 mg; 1.41 mmol; 1 eq), is dissolved in anhydrous DCM (15 ml). The reaction is put under nitrogen. Triethylamine (1.9 ml; 14.1 mmol; 10 eq) and N,N-dimethyl-ethane-1,2-diamine (0.17 ml; 2.82 mmol; 2 eq) are added successively and the reaction mixture is stirred at room temperature for 30 minutes. The solvents are evaporated and the crude mixture is purified by preparative HPLC, affording the title compound (68 mg; 10%).
