Compound 57 (5.3 g, 23.0 mmol), succinic anhydride (2.30 g, 23.0 mmol) and 4-dimethylaminopyridine (281 mg, 2.30 mmol) were dissolved in CHCl3 (14 mL) and stirred for 18 h. The solution was concentrated in vacuo and used without further purification. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 1.42 (s, 9H), 2.54-2.60 (m, 8H), 2.72 (t, J=5.6, 2H), 3.43-3.46 (m, 4H), 4.23 (t, J=5.5, 2H).
