To a solution of 5-[3-(5-fluoro-pyridin-2-yl)-5-methyl-isoxazol-4-ylmethoxy]-pyridine-2-carboxylic acid (75 mg, 0.23 mmol) in DMF (2 mL) were added 2-(1H-benzotriazole-1-yl)-1,1,3,3-tetramethyluronium tetrafluoroborate (81 mg, 0.25 mmol), N,N-diisopropyl ethyl amine (195 μL, 1.14 mmol) and isopropylamine (22 μL, 0.25 mmol). The resulting reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1 h. The reaction mixture was evaporated and purification by chromatography (silica, heptane:ethyl acetate=100:0 to 2:3) afforded the title compound (60 mg, 71%) as a white solid. MS: m/e=371.1 [M+H]+.
