A solution containing 35 (228 mg, 0.4 mmol), DIPEA (104 mg, 0.8 mmol) and DMAP (cat) in DCM (5 mL) was cooled to 0° C., followed by the addition of Ac2O (50 mg, 0.48 mmol). After 1 h, the reaction mixture was warmed to ambient temperature, diluted with DCM, washed successively with saturated aqueous NaHCO3, 1N HCl, and brine, dried over anhydrous Na2SO4, filtered, and concentrated to afford crude 38 which was used without further purification.
