To a solution of 2-{2-[5-(4-methyl-piperazin-1-yl)-2-trifluoromethoxy-phenylamino]-pyrimidin-4-yl}-4-oxo-1-(2,2,2-trifluoro-ethyl)-1,4,6,7-tetrahydro-pyrrolo[3,2-c]pyridine-5-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (25 mg, 0.037 mmol) in tetrahydrofuran (1 mL), 4M HCl in dioxane (0.4 mL) were added. The solution was stirred at room temperature over night. The solvent was evaporated under vacuo to yield 22 mg (98%) of the title compound as a beige powder.
