A mixture of 210 mg of 2b and 5 ml of tert-butyl amine was stirred for 4 days. The reaction mixture was concentrated and the residue was treated with 20 ml of 1M K2CO3 and the product was extracted into ethyl acetate. The organic layer was washed once with water, dried and concentrated, to provide 250 mg of 2c as a colorless oil.
