Procedure

To a mixture of N-(2-cyclopropylethyl)-3-[4-(ethoxymethyl)-2,6-dimethoxyphenyl]-6-methoxy-N-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-4-yl)pyrazolo[5,1-b][1,3]thiazole-7-amine (59.6 mg), ethanol (2 mL) and ethyl acetate (1 mL) was added concentrated sulfuric acid (6.18 μL). The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 hours and the solvent was removed by blowing nitrogen stream and dried to obtain the title compound (66.3 mg).
